While it is a bit difficult to tell because of the coloring of the photo as well as the great distance from the ground it was taken from, this looks to be a major railway station that is also next to a main road. This showcases the influence transportation had on the business of Tokyo in that it allowed for such central hubs of industry to be created due to greater accessibility from all over Tokyo as well as other locations in Japan. This image clearly shows the influence the railway had on fostering businesses to build in Tokyo during the Meiji Restoration because the surrounding area seems to be well established and not under construction and thus was likely built during the early 1930s or earlier as this card is from the 30s.
